It has been a while since my last post, but I figured that if I started this thing back up, I'd feel better. I've been down lately. Maybe it's because I've been pretty busy lately. I work 9-5 everyday, I do freelance work, I'm the newly elected president of the NTMBA and I've been trying to learn some video editing software at work. Whew! That's one heck of a list.

I hadn't ridden as much lately either. My RockShox Reba fork crapped out on me a month or so ago. I've had a time trying to get it fixed or replaced under warranty. I sent it out from Hampton Trails the other day and so far, no word on if/when they will replace it...keep your fingers crossed. Andy has let me borrow one of his old forks to use until I get my precious back. Thanks Andy!

I did get a night ride in last night. I gotta say, I was a little anxious since I hadn't ridden in a while, plus I was feeling a little blue, but I knew a ride would make me feel better. Seems I get a lot of my critical and insightful thinking done while I'm riding. Maybe that's why I don't race very often. Duckman, Brandon and myself rode out of Steele Creek Park about 6 p.m. last night. We all rode the first side together, then Brandon split before the climb up the other side of the park's trails. My riding kinda sucked last night. Could be because I hadn't ridden in a while, or could be because I've never ridden Steele Creek at night before. Either way, I had fun.

Greg and I may ride tomorrow, so if you're reading this by then, you should ride with us too!
